"When ya are away from something, you will understand the value of it"--the good old adage goes like above..But I swear the adage is simply true.
1.Been away from home for the past almost close to 4 years,I miss home food.Hotel food sucks no doubts...I have a feeling that home food alone satisfies my hunger and whenever I gobble hotel food I don't find the sense of satisfaction.Today while I was about to have my dinner,I had a longing for 'Thayir sadam',sheesh I got only stale dosa.....:(
Thayir sadam is no par and is an absolute eternal bliss for me....
2.Varuna bhagavan was so magnanimous to shower rain and when I saw the cute little drop from the sky,I became a kid and started to enjoy myself...The cool breeze did hit me and which made me to enter into a different world...A world of solitude. It was yet another eternal bliss.
When it comes to food "Thayir sadam" is an eternal bliss and When it comes to nature "Rain"(cute little drop) is an eternal bliss for me...However you spend you con't get these two valuable things..Of course you can get thayir sadam but not the home made :P

Random ramblings
I always get pre-occupied with my random thoughts and so I get a chance to pen everything under the sun and everything above the earth. Here you go!
1.I heard someone saying "Y should I strive to educate my daughter, after all she is gonna get married and once after that she is not gonna support me"...When I hear such words,I automatically get the eloquence to speak on and on..I swear,I never closed my mouth for another 15 minutes explaining the importance of educating a gal.Today a gal plays a multifaceted role. She tackles things so well and mind you gals are very much par to guys. She supports her parents and take equal responsibility as that of a guy.Never deny a gal's education,If you are doing so,you are seriously commiting a crime!
2.My father thinks I always need a constant improvement in my career. From school to till date he tries his best to make me shine in every field! One of his never ending attempt I say...It is his usual practice to get me books which tries to bring the potent to achieve things!.Last week he called me and gave me a book.I was eyeing for some novel perhaps "Unaccustomed earth" ,but to my disappointment it was not a novel. But well it was about "Management".The book contains concepts from Six sigma to emotional Intelligence.A bit of over doze for me!He tries all possible ways to make me matured..lolzzz on the matured part...but errrrr I am still on the way (mid way or in the initial stage) to get the MATURED tag!
3.Attended a corporate quiz....It made me to retrospect my good old school and college days where I used to participate a lot but hardly I won. Also itz obvious from the quiz that I need to resume reading newspapers,Be watchful when it comes to advertisements and mascots. And of course read the book given by my father.Yes the management book! Most of the questions were from management and advertisements. The only question I was totally confident was for the Leo coffee jingle,ARR and Aravind Swami whoaa!
4.My brother always play pranks on me!kiddos are always like that...I was very much engaged in my work at office.I got a call from him...I thought he was about to ask some questions about colleges and courses..But heck he said "hey I am eating cauliflower Kofta", it tastes yummy!Sumptuous!!I went arghhhhhh! All I did was cut the call and never pick it again...
uffffff thatz all I have it for now!

Change?!
I am so glad to meet my childhood friend...When I almost lost her contact,She appears all of a sudden...The joy you witness when you see your good old friend is no par.Lotta yapping and quipping.
After too many rounds of leg pulls,She uttered I am looking still the same as I did in college!wow, wah!watta word !!!...But I did witness lots and lots of change.Yup the first thing she graduated from Miss to Mrs...Congrats on that...I was dumbfound when she said she quit her job and now is a home maker...She was one amongst us who gave tough competition in our studies. She was the one you burnt her mid night lamp to clear her campus interview. She was sooooo passionate about work...She was a top performer....
I dared to ask her all the questions running on my mind...At the end she said,"Marriage and that will change you a lot"...I understand marriage is not an easy task and it leads to too many changes!
Anyways happy to see my good old friend(ofcourse with new changes!)

Photo no plzzz
Hope the title clearly explains the content of my post!
I solemnly swear I don't have a photogenic face...No sir I don't have one..
The time came to take a full length snap of moi true SELF...smirk...I already knew that I am gonna face a tough time capturing moi photo copy image...lolzz...
First I react very oddly when I face a camera...second the flashing lights makes me still more hard! But Murphy never seem to bid me a good bye.
My dad accompanied me for the studio! It was time for me to stand before the camera..Something started to churn in me...The flashing lights made still more odd..:( The photographer came and a gave a "ya never know to give a pose" sorta look, but still I never reacted and as always was odd.
He started to give his own instructions...The first one was to smile...I was so generous to obey his words! Then came an immediate instruction to curtail my smile length...I was goinggg arghhhhh...But managed to curtail my smile..another instruction popped up to hilt my head slightly...Again a reason to go arghhh but controlled and obeyed...For every second, a new instruction popped up...After some 15 minutes of non-stop instructions, the photographer had the heart to take a snap...wanna know the outcome of my image...sigh!It was tooooooo bad!I swear!
Finally I made a decision that I will neither visit a studio nor to have a click...Nope I made a decision not to visit a studio or take a snap...I again declare photo and me never ever sync!!!
sheesh,so what I am upto!

It's time to reminisce
I wish I were a kid!For the very first reason,I would get 2 whole lovely months of vacations to fulfill my sauntering.Well people stop your wild imaginations,I am not old, just in my 20's.
With Summer and vacation around the corner(oh itz already summer time and vacation),I see my own bro and cousins enjoying their share of vacations and no doubt I envy them...(Noooo itz not the bad version of envy, itz a good version of envy I swear)....
So it was time for me to reminisce my past!My vacations!Born and brought in a village,I had an opportunity to enjoy the simple yet serene village life...Now back to vacations.
My home is one common place for all our get-togethers amongst our cousin's circle.April was always a month of fun and frolic. No doubt every other cousin reached my village by April and for the rest of the days all we had was pure fun and nothing else.
Our parents had hard time to wake us and always uttered the words "Pasangala 9 mani ayidhuthu yedhiringo pa".With utter reluctance we did get out from our bed,no doubt the hot filter coffee would tempt us...Once we were done with coffee,we (all our cousins, friends) assembled either in our home or in my cousin's place. We chatted every other non-sense on earth.
By 10am,we would plead elders to take us to river cauvery...We took a whole 2 hours dip in the holy river, playing with waters, chatting, diving what not(bloody brats we are!even today!)...By 11.30 we reached our respective home.Momma's would be ready with cuisines...Most probably it would be vathakozhambu mavadu combination or it would be thayir sadam mavadu or it would be paruppu rasam sadham..My momma is lovely to handle our respective bowls of morsels, sometime she fed us(How lazy we are!)...Post lunch it was again for some play...Kannambhoochi is what we played at noon....It was the time for the elders to sleep...We created choas in every other house and never allowed them to sleep...Annoying kids we were...We never bothered about scorching sun!
By 5pm in the evening we again marched to our home for our light snack or thayir sadam with a cuppa filter coffee....And by 7 we again assembled for planning "Kalla manna","Lock and key" et al...It was exactly 8 when we had an another round of thayir sadam with vathakozhambu and mavadu, from my cousin's place...Again we continued the another round of play...And the day came to an end by 11pm..with utter disgust we reached our respective home for our slumber...The next day continued the same way!
When I think of it now,it was a pure bliss...The vathakozham mavadu which I shared with my cousin's is no par to the morsel which I gobble alone...We are no more kids to play lock and key or kalla manna...We are no more young to bother others at sleep...The days are already gone! When I think of it now,a cute little tear of joy fills my eyes! Those were lovely days to cherish forever...
I carry my good old memories forever! It is good to reminisce the past also good to be a kid forever!

My article in "Open Page"
I wrote an article to "The Hindu" open page and fortunate to see my article published on Dec20,2009...Would like to thank "The Hindu" for posting my writeup.
and here you go with the writeup.
“Green earth is synonymous with earth.”
Everyday, we hear about the “Go Green” campaign. We see the initiatives taken by our government and public organisations to prevent the mother earth from hazards. It’s our responsibility to contribute a share of good deed for this wonderful initiative.
But alas! One quite common thing I witness in public places is “spitting”. Spitting ‘paan’ and spitting saliva are the most common deeds. People never seem to bother about the place or about the people and all they do is spit.
Fellow citizens, please think about the infections caused by spitting. Hygiene is an important factor and we all do agree that “Cleanliness is next to godliness”. Let us not forget that the garbage cleaner is also a human being. Are we not aware of the consequences of our ugly surroundings?
Above all, do we need someone to poke or prod us not to spit in public places? Do we need someone to punish us for spitting?
Why don’t we understand that our heart is there to watch our deeds and buzz us every time when we cause damages to our earth. A single deed of work will create a drastic change.
So we as individuals shall start to contribute to this noble act. Enough is enough!

Moi true self 'ME'
When all my friends/relatives are busy celebrating the tamil new year,I am diligently working in office, testing my code, finding bugs et al.It's not new to me to work on holidays but a sense of missing delicious delicacies crawled in me and so I decided to divert myself into a different world called "ME".
Instead of 'Condescending' others,I took a break and started to diagnose my true 'self' to know more about me, be it the positive or the negative way. The brainchild is 'this' post. Here ya go!
I am passionate about: anything ya name it and I am passionate about it..
I con't stand before: Backbites(Get last I say).
I learn from: Every trivial incident.
I am totally against : Bamboozles and Hypocrites(GRRRRRRR)
I am a worst: PRANKSTER(Ask my friends, they might have loads to share about my pranks).
I totally love: Sleeeeppinggggg(time anonymous)
I am proud to be a :"Sluggish Sloth”(At times)
I have a twin sister called : Procrastination.
I con't: Coax other's just at any cost, any time...mind ya.
I am very : ACTIVE(mostly)...I am so fast in whatever I do(plz let's forget about the accuracy)...The word ‘Slow’ does not exists in my dictionary.
I don't sync with: Perfection. It is miles apart.
I am a big time: Silent Killer(beware! it's just a heads up).oh noooooo I don't kill others I swear.
I can do: Anything for the people whom I love.
I am : bit more expressive..I smile, laugh, cry, giggle a lot.
I call: A spade a spade(I throw anything directly at one’s face). No more hiding plz.
I am so staunch about: My opinion(unless I find it wrong ,I never change my opinion).
I am a : Hard nut to crack(rarely!)
I am not crazy about: Foreign Countries/Money.
I am not: BRAINY or BRILLIANT but I brag I had my chances too!(Bragging is not that bad ya see!).
I am prone to : Short temper...wanna witness it..I am ready for the tussle..r u ready to bear it..lol:).
I am so: Soft and I try not to hurt anyone...rarely I do hurt but I realize it in a jiffy and ask thousand apologies.
I will never: Change my qualities just for other’s. Love to be moi true self.
I only talk: Non-sense, most probably to my mother.
I fight a lot only: to my bro(once my mother shut the door and never allowed to enter ,only coz we fought like Rama and Ravan…itch itch itch ).
I am in love with the character: Swaminathan from ‘If god was a banker’. Wish everyone of us possess ‘Swami’s’ quality.
That's me...A mixture of both sane and insane but pre-dominantly insane qualities. But at the end of the day I feel so proud about my true self and "ME".If you don’t love ya who else will?Admire your ‘SELF’ and be proud of it always however insane one might me(It’s me!).
