Gifts,marriages,kaapi podi and many more...

Weekends are spent attending upanayanams and marriages of known/unknown relatives/friends,tasting sumptuous delicacies...So what I am coming to say!well well I am completely engaged even on weekends lolzzz....

Getting a gift for relative's upanayanam/marriages is very much mandatory!People at home strictly follow a set of rules for getting a gift. The gift should be either be gold/silver...If it is a gold it should be either a coin or a ring(mostly)...If it is a velli pathram it should be either a tumbler or velli kinnam...weight of an article shows the height of your affection. So it's obvious to choose an article which challenges you to lift it!...Why I am blabbering all these...err we got a gift to be precise velli tumbler for my relative's marriage and that made me to write this.

Mom,dad, bro and I are coffee freaks...we consume atleast a minimum of 5 cups of coffee every day and still we feel of having it...so I leave it to your take on the quantity of coffee powder we purchase every fortnight...Whenever I go out for grocery shopping my mom always reminds me to get kaapi podi and the brand should strictly be "PADMA Coffee" and it should follow the ratio of 80/20 .Come on guys itz not a quality theorey,it's all about coffee theorey...80%coffee and 20% chicory...These days I am so accustomed and I automatically add coffee powder in my list, that saves my moms energy...

It is always a bliss to be amongst kiddos...First thing you will feel like a kiddo...Secondly the environment makes you to rejuvenate yourself...Thirdly ya play with them which makes you to forget your stress!Had nice time with my chotu niece and that brought a smile in me...

The coming weekends are also gonna be spent by attending my cousin's marriage and upanayanam :)

55-fiction-[The niche]

55-fiction involves the total of 55 words in the post with title being the exception.

tried one such 55-fiction and here you go

Her hands started to shiver ,Her face looked pale

Heart pounded so fast than the usual

To make her pulse soar very high

The conflict started well before in advance

It’s time for her to prove her identity

Typing the number in hurry

She looked the screen

Only to scream that she topped her exams

Wanna whack contest

I was skimming blogadda site and this cool contest caught my eyes...I thought of giving a try and the result is this post:)If you wanna participate click the above link and try your hand on it!

I hear my momma's voice everytime when I lose my temper...The usual word from her would be "Be cool and hold your temper"...I try my best to be as cool as a cucumber phew but I end up losing my temper...To be honest I never whack someone at that condition but I wish to yell when I encounter such situation.so what are the situations that makes me to yell, please proceed further.

1.Bullying is one quality which I hate...I have seen people who bully their sub-ordinates...One should cross all hard paths to reach the higher position and it takes lot of efforts and time. But the master never understand this and always bully his/her subordinates...when I see such people I feel like yellingggg.....

2.There are certain situation which makes me to act fast...eg I run and run to have my breakfast and to catch my bus...When someone comes to my place at that hour and ask me too many questions,I feel like yelling "hey I am already in haste then why question me" is what I tend to yell...But havenot tried it.

3.Self-conceited peopleeeeee.....Ahhh I con't stand when I see self-conceited people...They assume as if the earth will come to an end,if someone doesnot hear their words!I often meet these sorta people...

4.People whose main job is backbiting!!!I am one such person who wish to throw everything directly and when I see people who speak backbites,I lose my temper and feel like yelling...Again I never throw my barbs!

5.When people ask your opinion for namesake but never take it into account...I feel like "Hey you are gonna take your own decision then why bother me and waste my time!"But as always I am helpless and never tend to yell...

So image at the top right is the image I chose to use for my so called whacking! It is a key chain...It is always handy and I hold it in my bag :P

Of weddings and life

These days I get lot of marriage invites from my friends! The probability of not attending those weddings tends to be large than the probability of attending it.But as always I try my best to attend those :)

Below is a conversation I had with my friend. We both of us travel with the same frequency and so we discuss anything above the earth and anything under the sun.Mostly insane sometimes sane too...Below are purely our opinion,we are not here to hurt other's emotions or sentiments.Any resemblance in real life is a pure coincidence.

Here I paste our conversation.
Let's call my friend as M.

M:getting lotsa marriage invites these days.
Me:Haan!me too...Atleast one daily.

M:Have you noticed onething ?
Me:What thing?

M:Gals tend to quit their jobs after their marriage? Is it an offense to continue our job and support our family after marriage?
Me:I personally don't find any fault with it!offense is a big word. After all whatz wrong in supporting your parents after your marriage? They have cuddled and cared you for whole 20+ years, and what is wrong in supporting your parents yar?

M:Well,I guess some males are chauvinist!they never allow their wife to work or support their family.

Me:Very well said and I appreciate the word "Some".Yes agreed some are chauvinist and never allow their wife to support their family.

M:You speak too much like a reformer. But will you follow ur words!

Me:lolz...Why doubt!I would support my parents till my life though they never expect my support.Gals are so much par to guys and I don't find any differentiation!

M:Ahhh! You speak a lot!Do you think a guy will agree to all ur blabbers!

Me:How dare you say my words as blabbers....Hope people accept what is true!

M:Never always dream that you will see "Swaminathan" from the book "If god was a banker" in reality. No such person exists in reality.

Me:Agreed on that part! But let's hope the situation changes and every guy understands his wife and allow her to support her parents. After all it's the mutual understanding that makes the difference.Life will be bliss if we understand and respect others.I know it is easy to preach and hard to follow.I am on the way of following the same.

Hardy boy's "The vanishing thieves"

Have heard a lot from my friend about "Hardy boys" and "Nancy drew" but never inculcated the habit of reading those novels during my school days...Always I tend to go with the good old adage "Better late than never".

My teamy was so sweet enough to lend me Hardy boys "The vanishing theives" book and I am proud to say that I completed the book in 2 days(Great accomplishment after the dawn of 2010)...well enough of my nitwits...let me come to the book.

Hardy boy's series is all about Fenton hardy and his sons "Joe Hardy" and "Frank hardy"...The way they solve the mysterious and puzzling cases are simply amazing and stunning.

This particluar book is all about two cases missing nickel coin and a car...The way they unveil the culprits and the way how both the the cases are interconnected makes you awestruck.

I feel for missing lot of "Hardy boy's" series.Have to catch them up all.I swear I love Enid blyton and Hardy boy's book...Though I tend to be the victim of mocking amongst my friends circle for reading kiddo books.

Is it an offense to read kiddo books!I don't think so...Every one of us for sure possess the kiddish quality in us...Try to be a kid in your qualities to forget about your distress and to enjoy every moment of your life.

Hope my friends lend more of Enid Blyton and Hardy boy's book :)

Wonderland and the road ahead

After the dawn of 2010,I relinquished many of my hobbies. The first thing that tops my hobby is reading novels...I have loaded my shelf with many beautiful novels even ordered 2 books through online(yet to receive it though) but I am not so proud to say that I have not completed any of my novel. Also phew...I gave my novels to many of my friends some returned and many are yet to return...chal...

Last week I felt so bad about it (for not reading novels)and started to read two novels Alice in wonderland and The Road ahead

Alice in wonderland by Lewis Carol:

I missed to read this book during my childhood and always had a longing to read it.Last week I got an opportunity to read this book despite mockings from my friends.Wonder about the mocking?they teased me for reading a kiddish book...But being so staunch I completed the book in 2 days...Finally I get to know it's all about fantasy and fun :)An imaginary world, world full of unexpected things...whoaaa I became so deep rooted with this book and it was a great time pass...At last I am done with this book.

The road ahead by Bill gates:

Attended a corporate quiz and there was a question about the book "the road ahead" but I didnot answer the question for the only reason I don't know about this book.Fortunate enough to get this book from my friend! And I am done with the book in a day.Wonder how Bill gates started his coding career at the age 13...How he worked hard to form a company called Microsoft.Loved the way how he correlated computers with future.Gates always motivates younger generation people like us...Kudos Sir...way to go!

There I was with 2 books!Lotsa books remains untouched and the list of "Must read" books are getting increased every day in and day out.Wish I own a library to read all my favourite books :)
